Which gaming mouse please

I own an MX518 and a G5 and although the MX518 is a superb gaming mouse, the G5 is definitely a better mouse in all areas.

The G5 has a better feel due to the textured finish, the adjustable weights are a good addition (they come in a nice little case too ;)), the cable is sort of braided and it has those super slide silicone feet jobs too.

You couldn't go wrong with either mouse imo, but the G5 is easily the better of the two.

Anything by Razer, Diamondback/Copperhead/Lachesis

The Lachesis is amazing as long as you don't mind that fact it's an ambidextrouse design.

Or the Microsoft Razer Habu.

If you've got £100 spare get a Mamba, my friend has one and they are insanely good.

Thanks very much for all the tips. I will pop down the local PC World strore tomorrow, to get a feel for the mice (as they seem to stock all the ones mentioned). I still won't be buying it from them though, as they are more expensive.

At the end of the day its what feels best for you. I like my G9 but for some people it feels too small, likewise I've tried a Roccat Kone and found it to be a bit big and uncomfortable. Can't go wrong with any of the mice suggested.
Yeah PC world is way overpriced, last time I looked the G9 was £90 there  ocuk = £52 nuff said.

Got a roccat kone and altho a little gimickey in spots, it's a great mouse.

Still haven't found a mousemat that suurpasses my old everglide gel mat. Even roccats own mat was complete arse in comparison.

MX518

mine's been going strong since release. i keep hoping it'll die so that logitech will have to give me a new one, but it's having none of it.
