Which GPU is better?

The adapter stulid linked to converts DisplayPort (full size) to VGA.

If you're getting the Sapphire Dual Fan Edition then that has a full size DisplayPort connector so it would be 1 monitor connected by VGA using the adapter and 2 monitors connected by DVI-D.

Thats weird thought it was DVI, theres only DVI at Sapphire also - http://www.sapphiretech.com/present...d=1010&sgid=1011&pid=0&psn=000101&lid=1&leg=0

Lucky the monitors got VGA then.

Even the description at ocuk says DVI,

SAPPHIRE has introduced an active powered DisplayPort to DVI converter, which allows any standard DVI monitor to be used as the third screen and enabled in Eyefinity mode. This allows users to update their existing multi-monitor setup to use Eyefinity, or to add a lower cost DVI monitor to complete their Eyefinity system. The SAPPHIRE converter is simply plugged into the DisplayPort output of the graphics card, together with a standard USB connection to provide power. A standard DVI monitor cable can then be connected to the female DVI connector on the unit.

The title says DP to VGA and the picture is DP to VGA.

The product code (44000-0140R) is for a DP to VGA adapter if you Google it.

OcUK are in a muddle somewhere.

The OP will need to clarify the situation to see if they need 3 DVI-D cables or 2.

I only try and use the manufacturer websites. I cant find it or the product code at any of their websites.

The DP to DVI adapter you linked to on Sapphire's site has a product code 44000-02-40R looking elsewhere.

So OcUK have that wrong as well if they are selling a DP to DVI adapter.

Who knows, sapphire only have one listed. Perhaps it's a Chinese knock off.

Powerballs all over again?

Labels printed upside down:p

You must admit though they are selling something that doesnt exist at official websites. Thats why I never even noticed it was VGA at OCUK, as I only knew of the one at Sappphire.com which is DVI so completely missed it.

The OP should perhaps get 3 DVI-D cables to be on the safe side in case it is a DVI adapter.

I don't know if DisplayPort to DVI to VGA would work.

Monitors in that price range are usually only supplied with VGA cables.

Im thinking the FLEX card will be simpler:D and doesn't need an adapter so cheaper.
