Hi all

built my first ever pc this week with the i5-11400 cpu which has integrated graphics and the asus tuf gaming b560 motherboard. I can get by for now without a gpu but will hope to get one around October time.

my monitor is a 1080p 144hz, so I won’t need 4K and can’t see me upgrading to a 4K monitor anytime soon.

what gpu should I look for that will give me quality 1080p gameplay? I’ll be playing forza horizon 5, call of duty and poss some other games like f1 and battlefield.

all advice is greatly appreciated.

It's really hard to suggest what will be the best value in 3 months time, who knows what prices will be. Right now, the best buy is the closest to the RRP you can get.

You can still get gpu at msrp the fe versions from Nvidia but you will need yo sign up for alerts on twitter or Discord.

And be extremely lucky :D

The 3080 does not stretch it advantage until you get to high resolutions so like others have said the 3060ti or 3070 are the sensible choices.

But it really depends on what is available to actually buy at near RRP.
