Hey Guys.

Thought I would make a quick thread here for you experts ;)

I was wondering, what would be the best GPU I could get that wouldn't be bottlenecked by an i5-2500K @ 4GHz ish and would also run fine on a 600W PSU?

Thanks.

The PSU is the BeQuiet Efficient Power 600W 80+ Gold...

Ppl will need to know that ur resolution is 1080p and what your budget is.

I stick with the MSI 6970 lightning for £269

Nothing will be bottlenecked by an i5 2500k at 4ghz

Yeah, it was mainly my PSU I was concerned about...

I think my budget will be about £300

(Gaming at 1080p)

I run a similar CPU and an XFX 6950 with unlocked shaders from a 600W PSU (Corsair) with no issues, and thats across three 22" Eyefinity screens. It does does get a tad warm though.

For £300, the it would definitely have to be an EVGA GTX 570 2.5gb

As you won't be upgrading for a while, the extra VRAM might give games a little boost in years to come and EVGA have epic warranties.

As you're an nvidia guy, i'd get the 570 over a cheaper 6950 toxic, although the toxic unlocks to a 6970 and it also saves you some cash to maybe buy an SSD?
