I currently have in my system a Nvidia FX5700 Ultra. I am currently looking at upgrading the graphics card to maybe a 6600GT?

My question is, I don't really want to be spending £100+ on a graphics card if there will be no noticeable or little difference from the card I've got now. So bearing in mind I've got the FX5700 Ultra which card do you recommend I buy.

It will be for games and movies and must have a VGA connector. It has to be an AGP card and from the Nvidia family of graphics cards.

Thanks in advance folks.

I would recommend this if you can afford it ...

PowerColor ATI Radeon X800 GTO16 256MB GDDR3 TV-Out/DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail (GX-055-PC)

Much qiucker than 6600GT & similar price.

6600GT would give quite an increase from a 5700Ultra so it would be money well spent.

You can still pick up a 6800 (standard one) for just over £100 from some shops (not overclockers unfortunately), with 12 pipes and 256 bit bus, would outperform a 6600GT even though its clocked lower.
