What is your maximum resolution?
Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. The full rules can be found under the 'Terms and Rules' link in the bottom right corner of your screen. Just don't mention competitors in any way, shape or form and you'll be OK.

Sweet chocolate Christ, forget everything that has been said in this thread so far as soon as possible. There is absolutely no way any of the cards I listed would benefit you really, especially the 7950GX2.rhubarb4 said:1024 by 768
It cripples your FPS and adds nothing much more than a couple of flying boxes, steer well clear of physics cards until the technology has matured, it's an incredible waste of money.rhubarb4 said:also what does a bfg phisics card do
Aye. Were I in his position, I would grab one of the nice 19" widescreen TFT's (1440x900) while they're cheap. I bought the Hyundai ImageQuest X90W and it's blown me away, a 7800GTX would have absolutely no problem pushing its native resolution either.Zefan said:Agreed with above post, it would be a HUGE waste to upgrade from your card at the moment. Only do so if you're upgrading to a pretty high resolution monitor (1600x1200 + above).
I would suggest any of the 19" or 21" widescreen LCD monitors on this site, they're all very good except for the Video7 ones (I had one and it was horrible, tons of backlight bleed and bad viewing angles.)rhubarb4 said:hi ok i seem to be in abit of a pikkle as my monitor is so poor what do i look for in a monitor to suit my 7800 gt, i would like to keep the widescreen style though also it might seem a daft question but can i use an ATI Radion graphics card or do i have to use nvidia with my DFI NF4 Lanparty SLI DR motherboard
Weird.man_from_uncle said:Úlfhednar, his monitor already does 1440x900. Google the spec he posted.
