Hi all,
I've noticed since adding this card that whenever I play games after 5-10mins my PC shuts down. Could it be that my PSU isn't good enough?
It is a 650w and the card needs a 500w but this PSU is 2-3 years old now and has bad reviews online. Is this problem possible or could it be something else?

I have ordered a good PSU with lots of other upgarde parts, I'm just wondering what is causing the issue on this rig!
I have a 7850 msi 1gb overclocked edition.
It was recently featured in one the pc components magazine and beat the 2gb model on there testing on fps in some games.
cant take there report as gospel as im sure a few guys would have something to say about that but all in all good card!
but no dual dvi

I had same thing happen to me and it was my psu.
also the pc power button would "stall" to power up after crashing for a few minutes.
I replaced with 650w ocz and it sorted it

So it turns out the overclock on this card was crashing my system. I turned it down and everything was ok. So is this issue based on a poor CPU or PSU?
PSU, probably. Overclocking the GPU it will suck up more power, probably taxed the PSU to much. your onld PSU is; not great

Ok, as you know from my CPU thread I am getting a big upgrade hopefully delivered this week so once that is set up I guess the overclock should work on the new rig,
