I've not looked at or replaced my graphics card since I got my pc built by overclockers over 4 years ago now.
In my system I have a xfx radeon hd 4870 hd x2 (dunno what x2 means as its only 1 card). Anyway recently its over heating every time I play games and I'm getting white lines across my screen , the fan is going crazy. I've cleaned it, made sure drivers are ok but I think its time has just come and I need to replace it.
I've got about £150ish to spend on a new card. Can go a little more if needed but prefer not to.
I only really use my pc to play fps type games, CSS, cs:go, bf3 and eventually I'll get bf4. So need it to play these at a decent standard if not high.
Please for a complete amateur and noob I need suggestions as looking they all sound foreign to me and wouldn't know what to chose
