Hey Guys,

I'm gonna get the above GPU. But is there any difference with any of the companies like Asus, MSI or gigabyte providing these cards?

Do one of these offer better support?

A mildly overclocked 780 can match a titan so unless you'd spend £1k on an average night out I'd go for the 780 or wait for the launch of the AMD 9970

What interests you about a Titan, there are plenty of GPU solutions that give far better performance for less money.

I would never use a single Titan myself for the reasons above.

Well I 'eventually' plan on gaming on three screens using BenQ XL2411T and at the moment I have 570's in SLI. So I'd rather have the most powerful single at the moment. That's the reason to be honest:)

Go for a AMD 7990 which can support up to 5 displays with eyefinity. They can be had for under £600 now and are a "single" card solution albeit 2x7970 on one card.

If you are tempted, just make sure it will fit into your case as it is big.

I have been tempted, as I have a NZXT 810. I know about the beachmarks being higher and the beta drivers working for DX 10-11 atm. But the card pumps hot air into the case doesn't it? :)

I've still got the default case fans that came with it.

As fantastic as a pair of 670s are, the OP would probably be better off getting cards with more VRAM, 4G 670s would be good.

VRAM isn't the limitation @5760....the memory bus is.
4GB 670s will still perform the same as the 2GB cards, the addition of 384bit bus is what makes the difference at that resolution. So AMD cards or the top tier GTX780 is really his only viable option.

If he wants to stick with Nvidia (3DVision) then getting the cheaper GTX780 over the Titan is the best bet, anything lower than the 780 he might as well go AMD.

Considering he has 3DVison monitors, i'm going to guess he'll want to stick with Nvidia.

Buy the cheaper 780s, they're a few % slower stock for stock but £300 cheaper :D

You really need 3 to benefit from the extra vram

It's your call buddy, but £750 is still £225 more than this 780

YOUR BASKET
1 x MSI Geforce GTX 780 Gaming Edition 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £527.99
Total : £527.99 (includes shipping : FREE).

You'll also have to account for the second Titan you'll inevitably buy to give enough grunt to push 100+FPS over three screens, if you were to get the second Titan at the same price...that's almost the same as buying 3 780s.

Surely if you're dropping all that money on a GPU you can afford a few quid for some better cooling if that's your only reservation?

If the op wants to stick to Nvidia, 780 Lightning when they arrive???

It'll be there or there abouts, no?

Why don't we wait to find out what the OP actually wants the card for
