which gtx titan

Im sure the question is 'which titan', not 'titan or a 780'

Ive had 2 gigabyte cards, with a 780 installed currently. I had to do one RMA, but it was the retailer that sorted this out. Ive heard mostly good things about gigabyte though.

I agree with you to a certain extent, but it seems like hes set on a titan. Im sure hes done his own research and has come to that conclusion.

Go for a AMD 7990 which can support up to 5 displays with eyefinity. They can be had for under £600 now and are a "single" card solution albeit 2x7970 on one card.

If you are tempted, just make sure it will fit into your case as it is big.

I wouldnt say get a 7990 as the frame pacing drivers do not affect multi display set ups. A 780 will do the same job for you that a titan would at a fraction of the price. Unless you are a benchmark nut ,you dont need to look at the titan.

Maybe it's just me, but I see the Titan as a complete waste of money given the cost and performance of the 7990 and 780.

my 2p worth

as you'll be getting some Benq 120hz monitors am I correct in assuming you play some fps games?

I've just gone from a single 670 to a 690 and I actually prefer gaming on a single gpu. there is noticeable micro stutter in bf3, blops2 and cs:go.

im currently waiting to see what the 9970 brings to the table and if not enough go with the 780 (no reason to go titan for gaming as so little between them)

other games like dota2, grid2, assassins creed 3 the micros stutter isn't so noticeable (its really only twitch shooters)

Thanks for the comments guys, I've been thinking a lot about this. And I'm coming around to the idea of getting a GTX 780. But which one would you guys go for? As I'd be looking into getting the most quiet pre-over-clocked version on the market at the moment:)

If that's the case then wait a week or 2 for the 780 lightning. This card should be a beast.
