Hi there

Nope, they all come from same factory, choose the one with best warranty or the sexiest box. :D

Phiew glad to hear you say that. I went for the Leadtec as it had 2 years warranty for #5 more than the ocuk branded one or the Gigabyte one. You only get the bare essentials with it and a game called neverwinter nights 2.

i use to have a leadtek ultra . is that card fine i here there support is crap if problems happen

sound cheers you have just saved me a lot of money =)

Could save even more by getting a 4870, its not much slower, even beats the GTX 280 at high res with 4xAA/8xAA in some, 280's not worth the extra £70 odd over it.

so what 4870's/260's/280's come with these illusive 6-8 pin adapter? I refuse to buy a new psu for a g card. :)

4870 doesn't as it doesn't use an 8x Pin, 2x 6 Pins those.

For the majority of 3d applications out there, even a 4870 is a bit much, especially considering that people still run at 1280 or 1440 resolution so often.

What the 280 will garuntee, is that ever so important extra texture RAM, and, exceptionally better minimum frame rates, something which the 4870 is not capable of.

However, if one would require something as at least potent as a 4870, the 260 is better value, and one card that does return nice results from a simple overclock.

who has the leadtek 280 ? seeing there the cheapest . i use to have the 5950 ultra that was fine (best cooler) never had trouble with that
