which hd tv.

im really sorry and im sure its asked a lot.

im interested in buying a flat screen, been and looked at a load, have read through of the posts in this section and thought id post a question to you lot.



1) How far away are you usually going to be sitting from the TV?

about 7 feet.

2) What will you mainly be watching (film & sport or will it be used for gaming)?

all of the above

3) What sources will you be using?

well pc, dvd player, sky hd, thinking of getting a blue ray drive for my comp but not sure yet.


have been looking at the sony bravia ranges. basically as i understand there are x,w,v and D ranges. the difference between the w and d seems to be and extra hdmi port for another £200.


so guys please advise. ideally id like 40 inch and no more than £1100.

Sounds like you could use a Panasonic 42" PZ70.

Can be found for well under £1000 and is simply great value for money.

Im with killajaz on this one, as the PZ is an excellent plasma and can be had for about £940. Also think about the 50 inch PZ that can be had for around £1200 if you can stretch that far.

No other tv comes close for the price, not even a cheaper samsung.

Plugged my PS3 into one and motorstorm looked andplayed awesome. Plus it'l look better than an lcd for standard tv as well.
