Which HDD for my ext-storage

Hi guys ive just bought a netgear STORAGE CENTRAL TURBO - SC101T and I need 2 good sata drive I was thinking I would go 500GB + on each of the dives so I would appreciate any recommendations.

500GB wise, I would always go for Seagate. The 640GB WDs offer better value for money though.

Although I do want value I also want good performance as the drives are going to be rammed with images MP3's and Vids .

performance won't matter for a storage drive really, quietness is key

Im just thinking of seek times and noise isnt really an issue as it will be in a cupboard in the hall hooked upto the router, and beside my desktop has 2 raptors and an 8800 ultra which make it sound like a jet engine so super qiet drives are a waste, for me that is .
I was looking at the F1 series drives I have a 1TB F1 in my desktop which is ok but has been a little tempramental.
