Which hdd ?

Id like to buy an internal storage hdd as im not to fussed on external but i have no clue which one to get apart from it would have to be western digital and roughly 500gb's any help would be great

The nice thing is that it's one of the quickest drives available and also nearly the cheapest 500Gb one at the moment.

correct me if im wrong but would'nt a seagate alternative be just as good, if not better with and 8.5 average seek time.

id imaging you dont want to pay £130+ for them but the 400gb one maybe, or get 2 x 250gb hdd's and raid them for a bit more cash and some more performance?

but i suppose if you really want a single 500gb hdd WD are theway to go.

Huh, the Seagates are only £6 more - £62 as the advert above shows. No idea where your £130 figure comes from.

The Seagate is slightly quicker but not sufficiently to suggest that the OP moves away from his preference for WD.
