I'm looking for a 1TB HDD, which one should I choose?

What's the difference between 32MB and 64MB cache?

its a larger space to store temp/most written/read data files,idk if youd notice any difference

Well i got one of these last September and at time were considered to be the best, not sure if that still holds up now though but it has performed flawlessly for me.
Great hdd.

+1 used samsung f3's too,didnt realise they were that cheap,good quiet drives

So I go for 32MB cache HDD? If so Samsung or Seagate?

seagate if you have intel sata3 ports,if not go for the samsung,either are a good choice

SATA 3 port is currently irrelevant for HDDs.

The Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM 1TB SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache is the better performing drive.

yeah i thought that also,but there is around 20-30mbps more read/write on mechanical hdd sata3

for roughly the same price you might aswell choose the sata3?

You have a link or some benchmarks to show that?

Even if the OP only has SATA 2 ports the Seagate will still be the best performing drive.
