Which HDMI cable do you guys recommend?

They are and very good for doing so. Anything over 5m would require fibre.

I asked because when researching a Samsung 95C OLED I saw several reports of an issue when connecting a PS5 to it with the screen occasionally blacking out for fractions of a second, I think to do with some HDMI handshaking issue, and the solution was to get a fibre optic HDMI cable, I assume because even for a short run to a PS5 the quality is that much better that it overcomes this issue. The talk is that it is more a Samsung firmware issue that could technically be solved to suit the PS5, but a fibre optic HDMI cable solves it anyway. I do actually have the 95C now but believe it or not I haven't got round to shifting things about to connect the PS5 to it to test, but from the research fibre optic HDMI cables do seem to have advantages when signal degradation if I do have the issue, and I will eventually need some long runs in my house setup using splitters etc. They are not stupidly expensive either from what I have seen.

I always go for the really expensive gold ones that come recommended when I buy a TV from Currys.
They tell me I need to spend at least £70 on an HDMI cable to get the best out of the TV.

Lindy make good cables, and they come with all the correct approvals in the spec.

The best Lindy cables are the gold line (also now discontinued Premium Gold) that uses thicker copper and better shielding, occasionally they appear at discount on Amazon or eBay. Not HDMI but using a 5m Lindy Premium Gold 2.0 on a Blue Yeti and it stopped all the microphone drop outs over budget USB cable.
