Which Household applianace you like most.

Dishwasher.
Only use it once a week, but the pleasure of having spotless dishes is great. No more scraping off bits, soaking, scrubbing in hot water, rinsing, leaving to drain, drying and putting away.

It's the least used appliance, but the most appreciated.

Most used:
Dishwasher is the most useful - probably used every other day (although I do scrape off some cack beforehand such as porridge or anything with turmeric as it saves the dishwasher having to remove)

I love my Range cooker, couldn't be without it - the hotplate is so handy.

Least used:
Microwave, although if I'm in a hurry I'll heat up milk for my morning coffee. Other than that it rarely gets a look in.

I am looking at buying a first house soon, currently I am in rented accommodation and without a dishwasher.

The lack of dishwasher is probably the #1 source of arguments in our house, a dishwasher would save time, reduce arguments, generally.. I will be happier. I imagine that it's almost worth me buying a house just so I can have a dishwasher.. life will be bliss :).

Dishwasher for sure.

I've been making use of our microwave more recently too. It's a fantastic oven and the grill works well too. Heats up in a matter of minutes, and I'm sure it saves a good bit of leccy using that over the big oven for something small for myself!

I bought a dehumidifier last year and it's on practically every day helping to dry my clothes and prevent damp/condensation. I don't have space for a tumble drier and we have 3 kids. So the house is permanently full of drying clothes.

I splashed out on a brabantia ironing board in the new year. It costs over £80 and the wife couldn't understand or believe why i was spending so much! But it's a joy to use and helps transform a mundane, tedious task.

I remember when we got our Miele washing machine. It was such a massive buy for us we were unsure if it was going to be wasted money. But it's a joy to use. It quietly and reliably does its job and we fully expect it to last 20 years.

We had a slimline dishwasher (no space for full size) and as it was just the two of us back then and it wasn't getting used that much we opted not to replace it when it broke down. Now we are 5 and I'm really looking forward to getting into our new house as there'll be space for a fs dishwasher. However, I'm going to want to match our fridge and washer by buying a Miele and it wont be cheap.
