Which HTPC software?

So far discovered XBMC and Media Portal for my new fusion htpc build. Are there are any better ones/aleternatives I should be considering? eg Boxee

Any recommendations and why would be very helpful guys?

Running win 7 and a logitech dinovo mini for info.

been using XBMC for 7-8 years now (back since Xbox1, which I've still got running in the kids room), and it is easily the best software for watching movies, etc.

MediaBrowser for me! Media Center takes care of my live Sky HD and TV recording (as well as photos and music). Media browser serves movies and tv content to the media centers in the house.

Cheers for all the replies guys. Going to stick it out with xbmc for now. Was concerned I was getting slow connects and video buffering, just checked and my comtrend homeplugs appear to ahve died. red led indicating very limited connection. Tried hard reste everyhting. Going to by some gigabit solwise ones now i think.

I use XBMC with iPlayer and TV Catchup. Works great. Getting my NAS delivered soon to try out on it.. will see how it goes
