Which i7 Bundle?

I am buying my new rig today and am having a dilemma between these 2 bundles

Asus P6TD Deluxe

Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R

Which would you choose and why? (Price difference is not the question).

unless the more expensive board has a feature that you MUST have. then just get the cheaper, performance should be identical.

the gigabyte got a higher review score in custom pc.

they even said the P6TD is starting to show its age, it doesn't have newer technology like usb3, sata3

Hi i bought Ga-x58A -ud3r after reading reviews on here then it appeared in micromart upgrade review. It got top marks against the asus and there was a big price difference plus more up to date on board spec .As the post above says i pick up custom pc mag and the gigabyte got a much higher review score .

i'd go with the i7 920 bundle, quite a bit cheaper.

I'd also go for the X58A-UD3R board. However, the OP linked to builds using i7 930 chips.

As smilertoo says - go for the i7 920 + UD3R bundle that only costs £506 for the next few days.
