I'm looking to upgrade my ram from some cheapo 2 x 1gb sticks to some better stuff but don;t know which of the followmh kits is better as i'm not up to speed (pardon the pun) with ram specifications.

or this:

I guess the 8500 stuff but i still ahve no idea. I would prefer to stick with OCZ and would like a 4gb kit for Vista Ultimate 64 which i currently hvae installed. My current specs are below. Sorry it's a bit long winded as I just copy and paste it:

I don't use the PC for gaming apart from minor games such as Minesweeper and the like but I do do a lot of multitasking and such like photoshop and so on. I don't plan on overclocking the system at the present time but maybe a few months after getting a new ram kit then I will post either on here or another place to help me start on overclocking as I am extremely new to that!

I will appreciate any assistance you guys (or gals) could give me!

Regards,
Neil

You probably be able to get to pc8500 with the pc6400 by loosening the timings to C5 anyway. i'm running my ballistix at 1000MHz which is a pc6400 kit.
