Which is correct? Afterburner or Heavan

Hi All.

Noob question..

Installed a water block on my 980Ti and finally got it installed last night.. while running heaven and afterburner each programe seems to give a different core clock..

Heaven says 1595 where as AB says 1404..

Why is there a difference and which one is right?

Max temps at 2560x1080 with Tessalation at normal and 4xAA seems to give max temp of 45 after about 6-8 mins

I want to look into Overlcocking the 980TI but want to know the starting core clock to work from.

Afterburner will be correct. Heaven has reported some insane clocks for me in the past, the same as Valley.

It varies from card to card but 1500/2000 would be pretty good.

Typically a GTX980ti core should do 1450-1500

Memory should do 1950+

Whats your voltage at? I could get 1500Mhz easy at 1.88 volts.

I tried giving it a few more volts +10mv but it still crashed at +80 on the core.

So ended up with 1465 core and +500 on the memory

1.88v on 980ti? typo? classy can hit 1.30v but even that is pushing for little gain

I haven't got my 980ti in my system right now but i know it ended in 88 lol so maybe 1.088. I know when i increased my core to 1550 i had to bump the voltage and it then went to 1.099 or something.
