Generally the 7600GT by a hair - but it depends a lot model to model... pretty sure theres some 6800s that are faster than some 7600s and vice versa...

the 7600 has a newer chipset however with better implementations for some stuff like HDR.

hmm i was thinking of stretchin to the gainward bliss+ 512mb with the 79 core would that eat a 6800ultra ?

7600gt is around the same speed as a 6800ultra extreme. but in newer more shader intensive games the 7600gt will gain a larger advantage.

The Gainward BLISS 7800GS+ (not to be confused with the 7800GS which is basically the same speed as a good 7600GT) based on a 7900GT core should run about twice as fast in theory as a 6800ultra... in practise it depends a lot... quite a few AGP systems just aren't upto pushing it for one.
