Which is more important MHz or FSB?

can u expain it in 'E' Terms' (E2180 .v. E6550) plz

FSB is lanes on a motorway
CPU MHz is the speed of the cars

e2180 is a fast 'A' road
e6550 is the M25

FSB overclocking is using the hard shoulder to drive on and/or extra lanes

nice analogy ty, so would i be right in saying that if i wanted a multitasking machine id go for FSB and if i just wanted to run single 'but demanding' tasks id go for Core Speed

Personally I never really noticed much difference at the same mhz say 8x450 vs 9x400 so I would always go with more mhz over FSB. Having both high FSB and high mhz solves the issue though . /brag

Re-christened William Wagger and yes if you have flaunt it.

Higher FSB helps as you normally run in Sync with Memory (esp AMD) so you have more Memory Bandwidth/Throughput then after overlocking.
