Im up to season 3 of Criminal minds and its only just started having stories giving information on the agents life in the past ext.

It gets better and better as it goes on, that reminds me i need to order season 5 and 6 :P
 
another vote for criminal minds for reasons stated above however midsomer murders wins by far, stops you ever feeling safe in the countryside again!
 
I watch and have watched all episodes of all 3 CSI's however my favourite is Las Vegas purely because I prefer the characters and the actors in LV. x
 
Criminal minds for Garcia, Grissolm era CSI, numb3rs is cool, but morse, poirot, frost, cracker, foyles war, those are my preferred shows, proper good ole british whodunits.
 
Used to like csi miami until i saw the horatio cane motage on his 1 liners and it put me off it, so csi vegas for me. One thing that always gets me going is the amount of databases they have on everything. Shoe prints, dental and finger prints i would expext but some of the others, jesus there must be some sad people out there.
 
I prefer the grissom episodes of csi vegas, miami was just ridiculous, (though Eva la rue as natalia is pretty easy on the eye). Another i watch is law and order svu.
 
I'd argue that the absurd unrealism in these american cop shows is the very reason why people watch them in the first place. One of those 'it's so bad, it actually good' type of things.
 
Criminal Minds of those choices! Dont mind NCIS either

Watch out for Rizolli & Isles starting in Autumn on Alibi. Based on books by Tess Gerritsen.

    With Grissom. Miami was annoying as hell. I think Horatio has to be one of the most annoying characters of all time, as the dialogue for the character were shocking. New York was passable but lacked realism more often than not.
  • Criminal Minds
    Love it! I'm unsure about Criminal Minds Suspect Behaviour though.
  • NCIS - with Gibbs, Abbi & co
    I don't think there is a character I dislike in NCIS, plus it's something I could happily watch again.
  • Law & Order
    Any of them.
  • Without a Trace
  • Cold Case

I looked at the Rizzoli & Isles series, watched about 5-10 minutes of the first episode & had to switch it off. I've read the Tess Gerritsen books & I found that both Angie Harmon & Sasha Alexander didn't quite fit the characters has I had envisioned them. Maybe I should give it another go ... we will see.
 
Used to watch Wire In The Blood a lot...was annoyed when they cancelled the show. A Touch Of Frost is ace, they should air that instead of Midsomer Murders at 4pm.
