Seems my Logitech Extreme 3D Pro doens't work with the game. What other sticks are as good if not better and work with BF3?

I would prefer Logitech as all my peripherals are Logitech and their support has been nothing short of sublime.

I used to LOVE my 3D pro... wish i hadnt changed tbh, worked great in BF2!

I've gone for the X52 joystick, its ok but take quite a while to get used to from the 3D pro.

I know either aren't logitech but if you want a simular joystick to the pro i'd go with this:

The Saitek looks good. How well do they last?

Just annoying how my stick won't work with the game. :(

Why is this?

Not sure tbh, i cant see why it wouldn't, Logitech are still selling the 3d pro.... I'd hold on for a week or so, create a thread on the Battlelog forums asking why the 3D pro wont work. I take it all the drivers are up todate for it?

I assume so, the Logitech update wizzard doesn't find anything and the software reports the stick functions fine.

I like my thrustmaster hotas x, I forgot to try it in bf3 beta though...

But the build quality is excellent, and its a ******* HOTAS for £30 which is what I paid.

It doesn't have driver software it just "works".

My Saitek Cyborg 3D is still going strong after years of abuse, the only thing which can get a bit fiddly is the adjustable-tilt thumb button, which can be prone to moving if you put a bit of force through it.

Cyborg 3D is a nice joystick mate. I haven't used it in BF3 but had great success playing DCS A-10 with it.

Saitek X52. I have one, all I need to do is clean the trigger button out because it's started making rubbing noises, so I've ordered some Servisol 10 stuff to clean it. I haven't used it in BF3 yet, because I haven't unlocked it, but it was great in BF2 and okay for helicopters in 2142. However, other people have the same stick, so hopefully they'll post in here what BF3's like with it.

Just checked the price of it, blimey! It hasn't gone down in price at all since I purchased it.
Also, as with many Logitech products I've purchased, they've pretty much all had to be replaced, but luckily, Logitech's support is great.

I just wish there was a way to get my current stick working. I'd rather put £80 toward something else rather than replacing something that works fine on other games.

Suprised people having issues with Greenman Gaming,

I've used them a few times now and never had a problem and I had to contact support once about canceling a pre-order and it was done within the hour and all monies/gmg credit was returned.

Used them last night to get BF3 which I ordered at about 23:45pm, got code straight away and had BF3 installed within 25 mins :D

There was a few posts on the battlelog forum last night saying their x52's weren't working. I didn't read the thread in depth though as i don't have one.
