I prefer the Dell 'compact' keyboard and Logitech MX1000 mouse.

Both can be seen here -

the key board i want to get is the Logitech® diNovo Edge.

Looks very nice if a tad pricey.

That does look nice.

If only it had less 'edge' on it :(

i love my old style dinovo.. and i'm much faster on it than I am a regular keyboard. I never use the media pad though, in fact off the top of my head i'm not even sure i know where it is.

sorry i've not got a photo :(

Pros - superb functionality and looks
Cons - Unsightly docking station, superfluous mouse, fear of wear and tear!

Same sort of thing applies to the dinovo edge; I don't want to spend over £150 on a keyboard and then find it has developed shiny keys a few months later.

I will probably get this - the anti ghosting capability looks pretty cool as it always catches me out in games.

yeh, some nice lookinh options there.

I was thinking about the enermax aurora, looks really sleek and modern but im not sure how it would be for gaming use. Does anyone have one of these or has used one of these ??

due to the lack of backlight/quick buttons, How are they for gaming use ?

bought the gaming mouse as it was cheaper then the mx518 plus i didnt need all the extra stuff that the 518 had. never had a problem with it, miles better then my old mx700.

its comfortable, accurate and does the job just fine in css and bf2

the keyboard is great aswell, replaced a old cherry one which stopped working.

dont intend to get a new keyb/mouse unless one of these breaks

Corded or cordless for gaming ?

opinions on this ?

My pref is corded. Why? Because if its cordless e.g wireless, the signal can cut out or the batteries can start to go dead and the connection just drops etc. Thats why the majority of gaming mice/keyboards are corded. A 100% stable connection.
