Which laptop memory?

Either memory is quality - i like Corsair for my desktops but i'm not so fussy with my laptops.

The one advantage with the Crucial memory is that the rma process is UK based so 'in theory' once you're past the retailers' warranty the rma process should be quicker than that of Corsair (based in Holland). However, this is dpenendent on how fast they test the memory and then issue the replacement...

Normally I would go corsair just because in my experience they are more reliable... though the crucial warranty is a bonus

I realise you've already bought the Crucial but just wanted to add for future reference that either brand is fine but Corsair actually fabricate their RAM as they don't own any factories or production facilities. They just buy in RAM chips from the likes of Micron (Crucial), KingMax, Infineon, Samsung etc. and get someone else to solder them onto a PCB.
