Hi

I currently have a Crucial M4 64gb and some 80/500/500gb HDD's. I only manged to connect up my SSD and 1 of my HDD's. I only had one of the wires.

Does anyone know what wire I need to connect the rest of my hard drives up? I'm rapidly running out of space!

Cheers

Data or power?

Are all the drives SATA?

The motherboard should have been supplied with 4 SATA data cables.

If any of the drives are IDE then you won't be able to connect them directly as there's no IDE support.

You can get IDE expansion cards.

All SATA. I think I may have the data cables actually, but its made me remember that I think i needed to get some more power cables with some extensions as my case is too large?

Cheers, I do need that extension but I also need the lead to power the hard drive.

I've got a few pics:

This is the connector I want to put into my hard drive

I already have 2 hard drives connected, I'm just trying to connect my other 2.

I found this lead (http://dl.dropbox.com/u/11365869/never delete/old.jpg) and found it can fit into one of my hard drives. Is this OK or do I need to get a proper sata one?

Sorry for being a bit of a noob! :D
