Which lid?

black helmets are terrible for visibility. think about the riders you in your mirror, see when youre driving; i normally notice the colourful ones. Black leather and black helmet looks the dogs ****** but could make you roadsmear.

If you do any kind of filtering get the brightest helmet you can.

sorry for doosmday message.
bright helmets attract the opposite sex too. just look at the natural world....

Yea they look good but for anything other than sunday riding get a visible lid, i ride a yellow and black bike and wear white and blue leathers and a white and blue helmet if cant see me you need your eyes checking :p

I needed a new Lid that day and they had no Stealth's left in my size so had to just get the S-4 which is still an amazing helmet for the price, next helmet will be a stealth though same fit as the S-4 but looks better. I dont Fit nicely in any of the Shoei's and all the Arai's i do like are stupidly expensive :/

I have the S4, very nice helmet, but a tad noisey I find, even with plugs in.

OP, the 1st looks nicest ;)

Scort.

Bright enough for you? :p

The only thing about the AGVs that concerns me is I can't see a way to close those vents? Can they be closed? I like the flush visors though, like the Shark helmets. Anyone ever worn a Shark?

AGV lids you close the vend on the inside where your chin is, really easy to do even with winter gloves on, and the top vents just slide back and forth

:o Really? mines really quiet, main reason i bought it, dont go Arai if you want quiet btw theyre far from it :p

Yep, I have tinnitus in my right ear now, all started after I rode to Weymouth and back, stupidly without plugs in :(
Edit: I guess this could be linked to something else though, never had hearing problems before, stange.

I wear plugs all the time now, even for the commute to work and back, and the S4 has always struck me as noisey, even my instructor said his was

Heh ive got tinnitus starting in my right ear aswell all started with my Arai lol, i can wear my AGV lid for small journeys with no earplugs in and my hearings fine but usually wear plugs for anything longer, going to get myself some custom made ones at the show this year as the cheapo ones hurt my ears lol.

Yikes, must be a common ailment then ;) Doctor told me to keep 'popping' my ears after I went to see him, helps for about a second, then its back to inner ear vibration and whistling sounds.

I picked up a bag of cheap ones at the local GW, they seem to do the trick, but I may look at some custom ones next year.

Scort.

I'd consider Suomy, Shoei, any of the 'better' manufacturers.

My current Arai, which is a Quantum and cost me around £400 YEARS ago is very noisy. I wear ear plugs even for the shortest journey. I've heard Shoei's are noisy too?

I recently purchased an AGV Stealth from an ebay trader called P R Clothing the trading address on the return label came from Park Road Power who are an official AGV dealer.

Anyway to the point the AGV stealth in the colours I wanted cost me only £78.99 including delivery!

Obviously the helmet was new! before anyone asks.
