I'll be upgrading to a C2D e6600 setup in the next week or so from my 2500-mobile  and I will be overclocking. In the future I will probably upgrade to 4GB but, I'd go for a set that has 2x2GB rather then 4x1GB.
Basically I need to know which memory people would recommend me to get. I have used corsair mainly in the past and have not had any problems, but I'm unsure as to which is best to get. I have narrowed it down to the following:

Corsair 2GB DDR2 XMS2 Dominator PC2-6400C4 TwinX (2x1GB) £176.24
Corsair 2GB DDR2 XMS2-6400C4 TwinX (2x1GB) £152.74
G.Skill 2GB DDR2 HZ PC2-6400 (2x1GB) CAS4 Dual Channel Kit (F2-6400PHU2-2GBHZ) £158.61
G.Skill 2GB DDR2 PK PC2-6400 (2x1GB) CAS4 Dual Channel Kit (F2-6400) £117.49

Not sure what the difference between the 2 types of G-Skill are, maybe someone could enlighten me?

Dont think you will get much difference in the list so is it worth the extra £60........

Both are good makes with overclocking potential go for he cheapest

These all use the Micron D9GMH chip. :)[/QUOTE]
Not so it's potluck if they are d9 it's a common misconception on here.
Ram that was d9 chips last year does not mean it stays d9.

The CellShock definitely use the Micron D9GMH chip, and it has not been reported that Team and Crucial have changed the chip used in said Ram, so it certainly isn't "potluck" as you say! ;)

I would go for the Team 6400C4 if I had the money or Geil If I wanna save money :)

another option is OCZ 8000VX2, which is at very good price atm and deffo using D9GMH ( it can be had for 165 + delivery, not from OcUK though ;) )

avoid the Corsair since they are expensive and no longer using D9GMH.

@jbloggs: where did you hear that? I'm sure the Team 6400C4 is always D9GMH?

p/s: there is a 2GB Corsair 6400C3 kit in Clearance section which worth considering as well because they are D9GKX IIRC

This was exactly my point, that Team DO use the D9GMH chip:

Because CompMan had said:

If you read my 1st Post in this Thread you will see what I stated. :)
