which memory for ds4?

which 2gb pc 6400 memory would work well with a Gigabyte GA_P35_DS4 board and will i have to change any settings in the bios?

was looking at Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2x1GB) DDR2 PC2-6400C4 800MHz Dual Channel Kit

A lot of PC6400 boots at PC5300 speeds and needs the speed and timings set manually.

I would get the PC5300 Ballistix instead tbh, tho it's not in staock here atm. It's the exact same stuff as the PC6400 and will run at 800mhz at the exact same settings as it (4-4-4-12 & 2.2v).

wanted to get the 6400 because wasnt sure how to overclock the memory is it easy with this board?

Yeah it's simple. It's just a case of setting the recommended memory voltage, setting the memory multiplier, and changing the first four timings to 4-4-4-12.

It's a 30 second job.
