Hello,

I'm building the following;

Intel i5 4570 Haswell running on a MSI H87M - E33 Mother board.

I want 8Gb memory in dual channel, the MSI board only has 2 memory slots.

What memory is compatible ?

No overclocking, just need the cheapest RAM that will work out the box.

Thanks Ben :)

Any DDR3 RAM will work.

Haswell can take advantage of fast RAM, I have 2400Mhz version of this.

If your not fussed about speed, then that RAM is good for the money.

Thanks for the info.

I'm going to go with this memory for £65.99 http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-051-TG&groupid=701&catid=8&subcat=1387

If Haswell can take advantage of the faster memory I may as well get it.

Have I got any chance of getting 8Gb for £50 ??

/EDIT

CAn the MSI H87M-E33 Intel H87 (Socket 1150) Micro-ATX Motherboard use 2400Mhz RAM ?? the web site says "DDR3 1066/1333/1600 MHz"

It should be able to. They say up to 1600Mhz official support to cover their backsides but 2400Mhz shouldn't be a problem.

The h87/b85 chipsets support a maximum of 1600mhz speed,no higher so just aswell you chose 1600mhz

Only z87 supports higher memory speeds
