which memory kit?

either this one:

Patriot Viper 6GB (3x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C8 (1600MHz) Low Latency Tri-Channel (PVT36G1600LLK) 8-8-8-24 £141

or this one:

G.Skill Ripjaw 6GB PC3-16000 (2000MHz) 9-9-9-27 £160

im planning to fit it into a Gigabyte x58 board with a i7 920 D0 and water cooling. so yes i plan to overclock.

the first one has a lower bandwidth by the PC number however it has tighter timings, also it may over clock to 2000Mhz if you know how

I do believe 1600 is enough for I7 through, anything more is just "over kill" so to speck

I'd also like to know people's thoughts on this, especially if anyone knows of a good kit that costs less than the Patriot that I'm also considering...

Patriot, little gain from the extra bandwidth, but tighter timings are always good. Also cheaper.

Using it myself can't fault it, well used by OCUK in thier bundles.
