Which memory stick help first time buyer

After a 16gb memory stick which has fast writes and very reliable and good build quality

Cam anyone recommend one

Can't go wrong with Sandisk or Corsair.

Corsair USB 3.0 one is really good

The rubber one so it's protected as well

Got mine a couple of days ago for just under £20

What speeds do u get on the corsair usb3 version on USB 2 ?

its seems kingston do good ones even the corsair get bad reviews for slow speed and bad build quality.

is there any good write speeds at 10mb to 15mb and good build quality and reliabity at £15 to £20 mark

Just tried it there transferring 10 gig of movies off it to my computer and it's getting about 80 mb/s so seems decent to me

a lot faster than my last one

Not sure why you have been told that. I've had a Sandisk Cruzer Titanium for years now and it's proved to be both very reliable and fast.

I had a couple of the 8GB cruiser blades and they were so slow that i gave them away.

The HP v165w is quite good, on the 16GB one i get write speeds of 11MB/s and read speeds of 20MB/s

because memory sticks can be either lightening fast or slower than sludgee, i;d personally go for a fast SD card with adapter

SD cards have "classes" so they are rated for different speeds

you could pick up a quick SD card for relatively cheap, they might even come with the adapter and you can even use it in your camera too
