Which Memory?

I am looking to get some new memory for my machine as I know for a fact that the stuff I have at the moment is really making my machine worse then it should be. Below is the motherboard I have along with AMD 3800x2 and XFX 7800GT. Was looking to get about 2gb ram but unsure what the best type is to get. If you need more info just say =)

Which RAM do you have atm?

And how much do you want to spend?

Here is an image of what it is (think its just some unbranded stuff), im assuming it is rather crappy as it came with an older PC

Im not really sure what I would spend. Im idealy looking for the best value for money really =)

I'd say £200 is my max but being much less then that would be lovely

Changing the Command Rate to 1T would help what you have now.

High speed RAM isn't neccessary for AMD systems. A 2gb pc3200 kit with pretty low latencies (run on a divider if you're overclocking) will do the job.

Something with similar latencies to what you have now is what you need.

How many modules of ram do you have, if you have 2 then you need to change the command rate! Will help a lot!

Thanks for the help Cob, I will go about trying to change the command rate then seeing how it does.

If it doesn't change much then I'll try something new
