I have just upgraded to the EVGA 780i board and will also be upgrading to a Penryn chip when they come onto the market.
For the moment I am going to buy some better memory (only 2GB as I am not going to Vista just yet)

Im stuck with a choice between the Corsair Dominator XMS2 and the OCZ PC8500C5 (currenlty on offer @ OcUK)

Both do 1066mhz at 5-5-5-15 stock, both have similar voltage ranges, both have lifetime warranties and both are SLI ready and both have good reviews for overclocking

Any advice?

Tbh I don't think you'd go wrong with either. Have you google'd them to see if there are any specific reviews to help you choose?
