new build otw based around a Q6600,

Mobo:
Asus P5K Premium/WiFi-AP Intel P35 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2

Looking for hopefully a decent overclock but which ram would be better?

Was originally looking at:
OCZ 4GB (2x2GB) PC2-8000C5 1000MHz ReaperX HPC Enhanced Bandwidth Edition Dual Channel DDR2 (OCZ2RPX10004GK)

then noticed theres a 1066Mhz set for a little bit more cash, would I simply be able to squeeze the other 66Mhz out of the cheaper set?

These have also been pointed out to me as good RAM:
G.Skill 4GB DDR2 PQ PC2-8000C5 (2x2GB) CAS5 Dual Channel Kit (F2-8000CL5D-4GBPQ)

Any other suggestions welcome

You''ll probably be able to squeeze a lot more than 66MHz out of them at manufactures recommended voltages.

Most decent 800Mhz sets will go to around 900 at least.

Well no 2 kits of ram or the same at the end of the day anyway, even the same brand and model kits can offer totally different overclockability. But i've seen good results from both kits on the net. Normally the best thing to do with ram is to go with the tightest timings and the lowest voltage at a certain speed. then you've alwas got some head room to loosen the timings and increase the voltage to achieve a good overclock.
