I have just purchased the following from the MM :
Asus P67 Sabertooth Motherboard , i5 2500k & Corsair H50 with twin fans
Which memory would be best suited to this to get the best stable overclock
i am after a minimum of 8gb ( 2 x 4gb) sticks
It was previously running at 4.8Ghz with Corsair Vengence 4Gb (2 sticks )
cheers

Faster RAM with Sandy Bridge offers little benefit and the RAM speed won't change with a CPU overclock as you'll just be increasing the multiplier.

At current prices: corsair vengeance low profile 8gb (2x4gb) ddr3 pc3-12800c9 1600mhz dual channel kit £39.95

or if you fancy trying running faster ram (overclocked): samsung green 8gb (2x4gb) ddr3 pc3-12800c11 1600mhz 30nm dual channel kit £53.99

It's early days and I've not seen much testing yet.

One here comparing 1600MHz to 2400MHz: Review: G.Skill TridentX DDR3-2,400 Ivy Bridge memory

It's fairly limited testing but it doesn't show much of a performance gain with 2400MHz.

The Samsung is pretty good RAM if you want to try higher speeds and you can get a good overclock out of it (not everyone can).
