Which mobile CPU?

Can someone give me an idea as to which mobile CPU i should give my attention to for a new laptop that i need to buy.
I need to run the office suite of apps flawlessly, be able to watch HD video without problems and do some very light video editing. i have seen a lot of laptops with the i5 3317u...is this a bang for buck type CPU?
Can someone recommend something better?

i believe the above is an Ivy Bridge and not Haswell

Any i-series CPU will cope fine. Although the i5 and i7 will be preferred over the i3 for any video editing. My laptop has the original i5 and copes very will still.

so if i could say maybe pick up a sandy b or ivy b i5-i7, would that suffice or should i look at current ten has well.

Mine's an old Arrandale. SB or IB will be just fine, the performance jump between them and Haswell is hardly phenomenal.
