I was seriously concidering buying some more AOC monitors but I have just lost all confidence in the company when it comes to warranty.

Put a warranty claim in 2 weeks ago. Got a fairly speedy responce about 2 days later saying they were sending out a replacement within 2-3 working days.

I am still waiting and all I get is no replies to my emails

The best email was this one which I recd 25th May

Dear Mr. Ellis,

Thank you for your reply.

We have posted the warranty claim. Shortly, the service center will contact you with more information about the replacement.

In the meanwhile, please package your monitor properly and do not include the cables and the accessories.

Do not hesitate to contact us if you need more information.

Kind Regards,
Vlad

I don't really think it's fair to judge support and warranty service during the current Coronavirus times? I doubt that any manufacturers would be performing much better, given the situation.

I had to RMA a Dell monitor 2 years ago for dead pixels. Think I raised it on Monday 2nd, had the replacement the following Monday as an advanced replacement, was a good service I thought.

I would agree, however when I did a google search I came across loads of unhappy customers. I would also suggest that they could at least respond to my emails.

Edit: Just had an email from AOC, apparently they have no stock of the monitor, like I said I would rather have bad news than no news, however they should have told me this last week

I'm experiencing something similar at the minute.

I paid about £400 for an AOC AG322QC4 31.5" Widescreen just under one year ago, and last week it stopped working. When it's connected to my computer (or anything else) all I get on-screen is a light-grey sort-of back-light effect.

Anyway, last week I did the warranty form and provided proof of purchase, along with details of the problem. I tried to preempt their questions by providing extra details, saying that I'd tried multiple cables and multiple devices, but none of them work. Also pointed out that other monitors connected to the same devices on the same cables work fine.

So far I've had two emails from them. The first was them asking for "a picture of the damage on the unit". I sent them a photo of the screen as it appears when connected to a PC.

Five days later and I've just received another email which says "Please try to use another input cable and connect it to another computer."

Get the feeling I'll just be throwing it in the bin and giving up on any replacement.

Yeh they tried that on me and I suggested that if they insist on asking question in dribs and drabs it was going to take a very long time to get things sorted :)

I got a DOA Dell monitor, Was annoyed but they shipped another one out relatively quickly without waiting for the old one. This was also as they were sending newer models out than what I ordered due to stock issues, So I got a better monitor which was DOA, then they sent me another newer monitor to replace it. Probably took about 5-7 days which was annoying but painless. Even phoned me a couple times to let me know what they were doing.
