Hi all,
As someone has offered me a great price for my old pc (see sig) i have decided to move to a c2d and have already chosen the e6600. After some hefty reading on the ram i think i have decided on the Crucial 2GB (2x1GB) DDR2 PC2-5300C3 667MHz Tenth Anniversary Dual Channel Kit, seems to be clocking brilliantly.

This leaves me with a mobo to choose and im not sure whats the best option. I will be overclocking and am not interested in sli ( have a x1900xtx anyway) and am not sure if the new 680 boards are worth the extra cash over a £100-£150 boards like the Asus P5B deluxe or DS4. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

I may gofor the this week only corsair dominator instead of the crucial if this would make mobo selection easier, any help would be good, as i have read a lot but still quite unsure what to gofor.

I would go for the P5B Deluxe personally.

I've heard the DS3/4 don't like the large caches on the higher end Conroe chips (E6600+) so it limits the overclocking.

Please note that I have read that from a few other people on this forum, I don't know how correct it is.

Have just seen the rd600 which i could wait for. MY nf4-sli-dr has been a great mobo for me and i have familiarity with dfi boards, shame its being held up :(

Ok so i think i have decided to go with an Asus board but now im having trouble deciding between the p5b deluxe or the p5w deluxe, i'm getting an e6600 and the crucial anniversary ram any help would be appreciated :)
