Which Mouse and Mouse Mat do you use and why?

Microsoft Laser Mouse 6000
Everglide Titan

I use the mouse as I am left handed and it was the best at the time for me. Still going strong and loving it.

The mat, well it just rocks and it is bomb proof. Still smooth after numerous beer spillages and even a couple of sambuca spillages.

Logitec 610mx left handed.

Why, well there is almost zero left handmouse to choose from, and this works very well. It also has plenty of buttons, and lights that indicate instant messages / emails.

Habu and an old steelseries Qck. No particular reason for that combo but i prefer cloth mats to harder surfaces.

Planning on replacing the Habu soon but not decided what to replace it with yet

Logitech G5 and used to be steelseries mat. Had to change the mouse mat to one with with wrist support as I developed problems with my wrist from being permanently on a PC for too many years!

I'm using the Logitech Marathon Mouse as it pairs quite well with their K340 and I have both installed while only using one usb receiver, which is nice. It's performing as well as my older mice ever did (mx500 + IE3), although the one slight negative is that the laser on the bottom is offset a long way from centre, so accurate movement is initially tricky while getting used to it.

Mousepad is a Roccat Sota as it seemed to marry the best parts of hard/cloth pads together into one product.

Thanks for that Locke, gonna try it out not mate.

Do I just put that code into the end of the target properties in my Steam shortcut?

Properties of Source in the Games list then go to "Set Launch Options"
You're welcome ;)

did any of you guys use a G5 and have now found a mouse that you feel is better than the g5 all round or anything in particular?if so what is it?
thanks

Used a G5 for just over a year and now using a G9x, it's a world apart in terms of comfort and use, awesome mouse!
