Which mouse?

Looking for a good gaming mouse,

Looking at a logitech g5 or a razer deathadder.

Logitech 10 cheaper but is the razer worth the extra?
Any recomendations?

Have you tried either of them? It is all very well me recommending you one but if it doesn't feel right in your hand then you will never like it. Both are good mice but my suggestion would be to try out both of them and see which one you prefer, if that means going to your local PC shop and asking to try them then so be it.

my mate has a deathadder so i could try that out, if i went to overclockers would they let me try the mice?

I can't speak specifically for OcUK but generally if you go into a store and show a bit of interest then they will happily let you have a quick try, particularly if it is likely to lead to a sale. You could always send them a webnote before you go to ask what their general policy is.

I've got the Logitech G5, best mouse I've used. . . . would I reccomend it or any other mouse? Not really, its a case of trial & error to find a suitable mouse everyone is different. I've tried the Microsoft Intellimouse & I didnt like it yet millions of people love them.

g5 is pretty good and works on pretty much all surfaces...i used to use the ms intellimice but wouldnt go back to them....build quality isnt as good as logitech and they are pretty bulky.
