Which mouse?

I was thinking of upgrading my mouse as i've had my MX518 for a little under two years. I think thinking about the razer deathadder or the razer lachesis.

I'm not sure which one to buy, advice from anyone is welcome .

Razers have entirely different ergonomics than MX518 so if that feels good in your hand there aren't much choises outside Logitechs.
(Roccat Kone is pretty much similar)

The Deathadder is the best mouse I've ever used, for gaming and everyday use, and it's the most comfortable I've used too!

I've handled the Lachesis, but it wasn't for me (it just didn't feel right)

My advice, try a Deathadder

stick with the 518 or you could go for the G5 just dont but a mamba or whatever the other thread is complaining about its likes ridiculously priced and not worth it

If you're playing FPS then get yourself an IME 3.0, can be picked up cheaper than Razer and Logitech mice and they're unreal for FPS games.

Because the MX518 as been out for such along time i think people think its old hat and there are new and better mice on the market. Imo there isn't! the mX518 really is a case of "If it isn't broke why fix it"

Death Adder is awesome, so is the Microsoft Razer Habu.

If you can afford it get the Mamba, don't listen to the other thread, the times i've tried it has been superb.

I have an older Logitech than you and was thinking of upgrading it, but I couldn't justify it. It looks worn as a mofo but it works perfectly, and is still spot-on in games. If it still works fine, there's no need to upgrade tbh, it's not as if the MX518 is dated.

any which is 2kdpi and feels nice to hold.

I've got a sharkoon rush which is £15 and is so much better than a razer just because it's nice to hold and has variable dpi on a button for ingame sniping ..

i had a 518, which i dropped and broke , i had a few bob to spare and got meself a g9, absolutely love it

I've used a logitech mx1000 now for just over 2 years now, it has been absolutely brilliant, can't imagine using a different mouse

there good mice, use to use 1 of them at work- still do infact, rather chunky tho, good grip

MX Air absolutely brilliant fps in the air quite a good laugh with mates around pc running through plasma tv its like playing the wii

also a really sensitive mouse in standard form as well
