Which mouse?

G700, Mamba or RAT 9?

This is my first post so be gentle with me :D. I am looking to get myself a new wireless mouse and was wondering if anyone could advise which is best. I have narrowed it down to the following 3:-

Logitech G700
Razer Mamba 2012 4G
Saitek Cyborg RAT 9

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Never had any of the rodents you mention but you can't go too far wrong with Logitech imo!

I'm currently using a Logitech Performance Mouse MX and it's the best I've ever used!

I guess it depends on whether you want a gaming mouse with insane DPI etc??

I am after a decent gaming mouse and have had various Logitech mice over the years and just fancied a change from them really, but I couldn't really ignore the G700.

Anyone else have any opinions/advice?

I would go for the rat 9. Friend of mine has one and I have tried it out. Has a really nice rubber grip that feels very comfy and has loads of buttons including programmable ones. The custom weights are quite nice too. I believe it has interchangeable palm rests and finger grips as well. The logitech looks like a good option too although i dont have any experience of that one. The only thing i would say about the rat is it looks a bit wacky, though it's great for customisation :)

It depends what you want in terms of size/shape.

I've used loads of different mice as a friend of mine belongs to a review website and lets me test them out when I'm looking for a new one. I've had multiple G700s (I breakthem in rage) and it's the best mouse available imo and is able to be used wireless/wired.

Both Steelseries/Razer have a lot of products which you're just paying for the name but their entry-level mice are just as good as their high-end ones.

I would stay clear from the Cyborg Rats, I've had a few of these and they break without warning and it's always the sensor.
 
All the Razer products I own (Blackwidow Ultimate keyboard, Vespula mousemat, DeathAdder mouse) are beautifully made and everyone who has used them always comments on them. I love them all :D the mouse has served me well too, had it over a year now and it doesn't get fingerprints on the top or anything, I think if I cleaned the sides a bit it would look brand new! Has an awesome configurator too.

TL;DR - One vote for the Razer mouse!
 
Have now opted to go for the "safe" Logitech G700. I have had numerous mice from Logitech in the past and never had any problems, so decided that would probably be best for me, plus with the saving over the other two I have treated myself to a new keyboard too ;) Saitek Cyborg V7 :D
