Which Nvidia 770 ??

pretty much set my mind on the Nvidia 770 (although open to other ideas)

one question

which one to choose?
i dont like the sound of the msi leaks
so was thinking of Asus
any others that are a better buy for speed and price ?

Same as all other 770 threads where many agree but recently some seem to resent the advise as they bought one.

Someone last week even bought 2x770 2GB to SLI at near same cost as last weeks offer on 780Ti (madness but his choice).

Can you afford a 780 new or 2nd hand?

I ask as a 770 is a rehashed 680 and would you buy a 680 now?

1080p all Max setting AA etc. its not going to do well in every game esp. a 2GB model and this will be more true in newer games to come out.

What do you game at RES wise and setting wise?

If you do not want risk of oil do not but Non Ref cooler MSI models.

i currently have a palit 560ti and belive the 770 will be a medium upgrade
want to spend around £200
so that would not get me a 780
1080p on fully maxed out settings on warthunder would be great
lower noise level from the card for me is important
could you put a link up to the most relevant 770 comparison thread please ?

I would need use search same as you, advise in every thread was to buy a 780 new or used, but recently it ended with arguments.

I for one do not need justify my hardware so do not want others to buy now and regret on day 1 or soon afterwards.

If I was that way I would either not want anyone to have a better card them myself or would want them all to buy the same card.

If your budget can not get a better card that is fine but you may regret later on and can you do without for now an save a bit more up?

It will be a good upgrade from your card though.

What's the make and model of the PSU?

A gtx 770 has a recommended power supply of 550 watts:

OCZ are a now bankrupt budget PSU option so personally I would say a new PSU would be recommended.
