which of these drives is best for Gaming On PC please?

i was thinking of buying 1 of these drives for my pc gaming and i cant work out which is best as most reviews are so mixed on the net its hard to get a handle on it lol, some say the black isn't good because its not 7200rpm?

If purpose is using it for games, it doesn't really matter that much.
All HDDs are dog slow compared to SSDs and far behind all SSDs in access times/random performance.

Could you not fit an internal drive in your pc? A 3.5 inch internal drive would be best.

I don’t know specifically about the My Passport, but I did see a recent comparison between the P10 and a WD Ultra USB drive and they came out about the same, I suspect this holds true here. I backup my game collection to a 4TB Ultra and typically see transfer rates of 100-120MBps which I’m happy with.

This said, I will probably pickup a P10 in the not to distant future to install old games on, I can then easily move them to/from my SSD drive to free up space. My Ultra drive will then be kept for documents/music and video etc. **I like the idea of having two distinctly different looking drives for different purposes, one for games the other for more personal files.

If you’re asking me, around 60-70Mbps, but I like to have an offline backup in case I need to do a restore.
