Which of these games will persuade you to upgrade your PC?

As long as they work on min settings none. i much prefer game play than draphics. Most games that people get excited about on the graphics front I get bored off after 30mins because there's no game play.

However saying that I am looking forward to crysis.

was it in this thread, mighta been another, where someone said they had stalker on pre-order but the textures look kinda poor so he canceled. one of the most ridiculous things i've seen said. honestly i pay no attention to upcoming games, film or tv because generally reviews have gone to crap, showing you all the best details of a game i'd prefer to discover for myself while playing. or films they show the most crucial/exciting parts in flashes and its retarded. i find myself way way WAY less let down by games/films since i stopped watching ads/preview vids and previews. its not hard to work out what the "big releases" are without really knowing much about them at all. farcry i was pretty shocked when it became a monster fest, and to be fair dissappointed but was actually surprised.

so maybe stalker is supposed to not be fun and be crap, but the guy didn't say that he just said textures look poor.

I might upgrade my graphics card for Crysis.

nuff said really :p was tempted by the 320mb 8800gts but gonna hang on for crysis first.....hopefully the prices will have come down a bit on the gtxs when crysis hits the streets :o

Sup commander: soon upgrading to a e4300 core 2 duo.
c&c 3: nah, improved bfme2 engine, bfme2 is smooth as silk atm...
UT 2k7: i like ut games, unsure how it'll run though, if it wont run i'm def upgrading...
Crysis: Works fine according to dev on a 1900xt on mid-high gfx, thus i dont think ill upgrade for this.
Alan wake: looks fine from pics, but i need to try theg ameplay 1st to decide.
Stalker: no it looks too bad imo to upgrade for.

well, they might be CALLING us to "upgrade for this game" but i am resisting HARD

I really dont want to upgrade again this year!
I had to buy a new GFX card and motherboard (still SKT939!!) so i cant afford a total upgrade of new mobo, ram and CPU to Conroe so i am going to be behind im afraid! (if i can resist a year that is)

but ultimaly, try the playable demo, if it runs bad, then upgrade ;)

Convince me that Crysis wont be Far Cry with new graphics. And as it happens I thought Far Cry was pretty pap, graphics aside.

Theres nothing ground breaking in that list. C&C3? Come on. :o

Crysis & Enemy Territory Quake Wars for me

Supreme Commander is ok but I would find it hard upgrading just for that. I am finding it a bit of a grind in single player
