Im waiting for both to come into stock but im still hmm'ing and errr'ing over which one to get.

Whats your opinions? Performance? Aesthetics? Restriction?

Theres a £10 difference between the Koolance and the xspc cpu block, is it really worth the extra tenner?

Koolance 380SI read good reviews on this, asked oc when would get in stock.
that was around 3-4 weeks ago, no 1 else had these as well in stock & still dont.
Gave up w8 & ended up getting the raystorm 2 days ago. if u check oc on these now they have removed the 380si for some reason.
Performance? Installing it thurs/frid.
Aesthetics? went for the raystorm intel chrome one. looks **** hot :)
Restriction? will find out soon :)

From what I have read they are both much on par. Would the blue led's from the raystorm go with the rest of your setup?

I was going to swap out the interchangeable LED's and put in some white ones (think red LED's would be too much red).

Same here, i asked them about 2 weeks ago and opened up a cs thread but they couldn't give me an answer. Looked on competitor sites but no luck either so im still waiting for them to come through.

I just checked, the 380SI is still there for pre-order on my screen?

 the chrome is a small fortune! Is it as shiny as it looks in the pics? I would like to see some pics of yours if you don't mind lol

Let me know please how it all goes and what temps you're getting.

Thanks!

soz so long, had to get some thermal paste, never came in delivery
I am seeing a difference with new block over heatkiller 3.
raystorm or prime have both got a good drop in temps

heatkiller prime = 58-62
raystorm prime = 49-52
these was only run for 1 hour each, but is a good difference.

hoping will drop some more when my Gelid Solutions GC paste arrives.
used old mx-3 from a friend, to get pc up & running.

Wow thats almost 10c!!!

I've persuaded my girlfriend to buy it me for christmas lol while i get the other components ordered to help drop temps abit.

Question: did you have to change the backplate on your motherboard to mount the new waterblock?

i did, with the back plate on with this new block, u can't over tighten, which is a big bonus for any 1 installing block :)

Back to here again! I'm still really frustrated over which block to get...

I like the performance of the raystorm but the looks i dont think it will go too well with my setup.

I love the look of the Koolance 380 but the damn thing won't come into stock and ocuk can't give me a ETA on it!

Same with the koolance 370 block, it's overdue and no ETA on it!

The EK CSQ blocks don't tickle me much, they look too bland and boring, maybe consider the plexi nickel version supreme but other than that it's a no go for me.

Any other suggestions? Why is it so hard to get them into the country :S?
