Which One

Easy answer for this one, 7850 2gb. As you only game in 1650x1050 at the moment this card will run everything on max quite easy with a slight overclock. And when you get you 1080p monitor, just put another in if you don't think its up to the job, by that point they will be even cheaper anyway.

more than 680 performance for like what could cost £250

Only game of note I play is trackmania2 which does not have an official profile. Allegedly this is due to some odd quirk with the engine, altough there is unofficial support which appears to have some success.

It depends on the resolution you run from reading most of the review most of these card dont start getting started till around 8 x msaa (using fxaa kind of negates the issue anyway). As I cant tell the difference between 2x and 8x on a normal 1080p moniter it isn't a problem too me.
